It is July 1st! Can you believe half the year is already over – where has the time gone? I’m gearing up for the long weekend, as usual we will head to Michigan to spend sometime with family and friends, have BBQ and enjoy some fireworks. Can’t wait!
The pants to tops ratio in my closet is disproportional, I have way too many pants and not enough shirts to match them all. But that didn’t stop me from getting these pleated front jogger pants! I’m always a little weary of pleated front pants because I am only 5’2 and it sometimes just doesn’t look right. But when I tried these on I loved them!
For this look, I paired the jogger pants with a blue blouse, a blue floral blazer, pretty heels, and a few gold accessories, including a statement piece!
Top: 1. Akira (here is the same top but in different color), 2. Akira (here is a different top but same color) / Blazer: Old Navy / Pants: Akira (here are the same pants but different color), 2. Missguided (different pants but same color) / Shoes: Guess / Statement Piece: (past season but here is something similar) Forever 21 / Earrings: Tory Burch / Braclet: Jcrew / Watch: Michael Kors
I Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend. Here is the details on the pink chambray outfit I previewed on Instagram last week! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I love a great chambray shirt! It looks great with everything. This time, I paired it with light pink pants from Jcrew, and a pretty statement piece.
Top: Banana Republic / Pants: Jcrew / Necklace: Forever 21
Here is the last time I wore Chambray.
Happy May everyone!
Yesterday my daughter turned 7 months! Where has the time gone? I feel like it was yesterday when I was rushing to the hospital with my husband because I was in labor. These last 7 months have been the happiest and toughest in my entire life. Happiest, because the joy a child brings to your life is amazing. Coming home from a crazy day at work to see my daughters smiling face is wonderful! Toughest, because having a child turns you life upside down, and everything becomes a balancing act. I think the hardest thing is that your time to do things for yourself is so limited. Sometimes I wish I had the ability to be in two places at once – like at home with my husband and daughter – and out shopping at the same time! Oh well, I guess this is why they call motherhood the most challenging job in the world. If I figure out a way to be in two places at once I will let you know my secret!
I wore this outfit as a relaxed business casual look to work this week. I love cropped trousers pants, because you’re able to really show off your shoes! These pants are the Slone fit from Banana Republic. I paired it with a blouse from Zara, and my favorite jacket from Jcrew.
